‘A’ drops lawsuit against Park Si Hoo and his hoobae!
Although it seemed like a long battle in the courts was up ahead for ‘A’ and Park Si Hoo, it’s been revealed that things will actually wrap up as ‘A’ has dropped her suit against the actor, who has followed by dropping his own suit against her.
The reason for why ‘A’ has decided to drop her charges has not been revealed, but according to the prosecution, she has indeed retracted her lawsuit. “On May 9th, ‘A’s lawyers filed papers to drop their suit. For cases of sexual assault, if the suit is dropped, then prosecution no longer has the authority to indict,” said a rep from the prosecution.
The suit against Park Si Hoo’s hoobae, Mr. Kim, has also been dropped as well, so now all that’s left are the counter lawsuits between the actor and his former agency, and ‘A’s friend ‘B’. However according to Park Si Hoo’s reps, they seem to be working towards the direction of dropping those as well.
To recap, this case started a few months back when trainee ‘A’ filed a report against Park Si Hoo and his hoobae for sexual assault. The case then blew up with more names becoming implicated in the mess, like ‘A’s friend ‘B’, and ‘B’s CEO friend ‘C’, and Park Si Hoo’s former agency CEO. The police investigation wrapped up last month, and their findings were forwarded to the prosecution recommending that Park Si Hoo be charged with quasi-rape and battery. Park Si Hoo’s legal team lashed out at the police criticizing them, which eventually led to a civil group suing the actor and his team for leaking ‘A’s info and raising public’s mistrust of the police. However, it seems this case is now settled without the need for court with ‘A’ dropping her charges, and Park Si Hoo doing the same.

Wedding bells for the Han Hye Jin and Ki Sung Yong!
Although it hasn’t been long since actress Han Hye Jin (32) denied the wedding rumors, rumors have become reality as the actress and soccer player Ki Sung Yong (24) have now announced their plans for marriage!
Han Hye Jin’s agency Namoo Actors confirmed on the 10th, “As much as the marriage will be based on the two’s love and deep faith for each other, we hope that you send them your warm congratulatory messages. They decided to get married very recently. There are a lot of things that both parties still need to carefully think about and decide upon. Only the month of the wedding ceremony has been decided. The location, congratulatory song(s), the officiator of the ceremony, and honeymoon have not been decided yet. Once more specific wedding plans are confirmed, we will let you know.”
With this sudden announcement coming only 4 months into the two’s relationship, speculations of it being a shot-gun marriage were raised, but the agency flatly denied the rumors. “Han Hye Jin will be starting to film for a movie soon. If she was pregnant, she would not be able to start movie filming,” they said.
Han Hye Jin and Ki Sung Yong kept in touch after he featured on an episode of SBS‘s ‘Healing Camp‘, where the soccer player picked her as his ideal type. The two began their relationship in January of this year, and confirmed dating rumors in March. Although it’s been only 4 months into their relationship, with their love and respect for one another, the two have decided to tie the knot in July.

Former A Pink member Yookyung’s father fires back at A Cube Entertainment
Yookyung‘s father has once again fired back at his daughter’s former label A Cube Entertainment, stating that her departure from A- Pink did not happen the way the agency insists and leaving a warning that he will reveal the process of how they had come to sign the agreement.
If you remember, the situation was left off last time with Yookyung’s father asking fans to help his daughter gain an apology from the agency and be restored to her position. A Cube Entertainment had tried to sweep all the rumors surrounding the departure under the rug when they denied Yookyung’s father’s claims, emphasizing that her leave was agreed upon by the former member and her parents.
After a few days of silence, Yookyung’s father took to his twitter, writing, “Again, they used the media play about Yookyung having discussed this with her mother.. If they had simply apologized and asked us to hold back for the sake of the other A Pink members, we could have… I guess I will have to write about the process that took place in the signing of the negotiation.”
“Early last year, Yookyung went through much emotional stress due to the ‘rich daughter media play’ but she endured it for it helped get A Pink’s name out there. They even did media play about how this was a case of her getting what she wanted and abandoning ship…” said Yookyung’s father in reference to A Cube’s press releases about her deciding to leave the group on her own to pursue an ordinary life and attend college.
When contacted about the latest tweets, A Cube commented, “The company’s position is the same as last time when we revealed our official statement… There is nothing else to say. It’s the truth that [Yookyung] left after settling on an agreement, and we have no intention to bring her back in.”

Will Smith explained exactly why he asked Jay Park to sing “I Like to Party” for the Korean release of ‘After Earth‘!
On May 7, Jay Park came out as a special guest at the red carpet event for ‘After Earth’, held at the Seoul Time Square Atrium. He was greeted enthusiastically by both Will Smith and Jaden Smith. Together on stage with Jay Park, Will Smith said, “I don’t know if everyone knows – well, they can’t know since the movie’s not out yet. Jay has the song at the end.” Jaden clarified, “He has the end title song. He has the end title song at the end of the movie.”
Jay also sang a part of the song at the event, and afterwards, Will Smith was asked why he selected Jay Park. He explained, “The producer of the film is my brother in law. He’s my wife’s brother. And his wife is Korean. During the process of working on the film, she was suggesting lots of young Korean artists that could be involved with the film. So Jay came up, and now it’s at the end credits.”
Jay Park then told Will Smith, “This is the first time in my life ever that I’ve been starstruck. For real. I’ve been watching you ever since I was a little kid.” He told Jaden, “I’ve been seeing your stuff too. Your rap stuff. Thank you so much for coming and blessing us with your presence.”

4men comesback with “Propose Song” MV + ‘Thank You’ album!
4men have finally returned with the 2nd part of their 5th album, ‘Thank You‘, and the music video for their title track “Propose Song“.
‘Thank You’ features songs that express the hearts of men who fall in love and the sweet transformation that begins when they fall in love. The title track, “Propose Song”, is a pop, ballad love song written and composed by label mate MIIII and tells of a man’s nervous heart as he gets ready to confess his love.
A representative commented, “For this album, 4men, who have been sweeping the charts with their sad ballads, have made a new transformation with love songs that are fitting with the season of May using their sweet and emotional voices which will touch the hearts of fans.”

DMTN’s Daniel and 4 others attend first hearing for marijuana related charges!
DMTN‘s Daniel and the four others indicted by the prosecution regarding their various marijuana charges attended their first hearing in court today.
The hearing took place on the 30th at 10:50 AM, and Daniel is said to have admitted to all his charges with a solemn expression. It is also said that in addition to aiding in the distribution, the idol also admitted to smoking marijuana.
As he emerged after the hearing, he bowed his head as he said “I’m sorry” to the press gathered outside. When someone asked, “Do you admit to all your charges?” He responded, “Yes”, and left the scene with his agency staff and lawyers.
4 others who attended the hearing with Daniel include the English academy teacher (age 24), son of a famous actor (age 23), makeup artist (age 33), and former academy teacher (age 21).
The other named celebrity involved, Bianca from ‘Global Talk Show - Chat With Beauties‘, was not present at the hearing today.
As mentioned previously, the 6 involved grew close because of their experience of attending school in the U.S., and have been accused of supplying, distributing, or using marijuana.
The English academy teacher supplied the marijuana to Daniel 15 times, which was then introduced to the others by Daniel, who acted as the link between the English academy teacher and the others involved.
The second hearing will take place during the first week of May.

Jo In Sung and Kim Min Hee′s Agencies say they are checking into the dating rumors!
Jo In Sung and Kim Min Hee′s agencies have stepped back to say they′re checking with the actors themselves following reports that the two are dating.
A rep from Jo In Sung′s agency IOK Company told enews on April 24, "We first learned about the news through articles. We didn′t hear anything about this yesterday. We haven′t been able to reach Jo In Sung yet. We are checking the facts."
An official from Kim Min Hee′s agency, Management Soop, also told enews, "We′re checking the facts surrounding [Kim Min Hee′s] rumors with Jo In Sung. We will release an official stance as soon as everything is confirmed."
A media outlet had reported this morning that Kim Min Hee and Jo In Sung had been dating for four months. The two had started to show affection since then, but finally really started to see each other a month before due to their busy schedules.

The wait has come to an end as media outlet Dispatch has finally shattered the calm with their new celebrity couple exclusive! According to them, actor Jo In Sung (32) and actress Kim Min Hee (31) are dating!
The two apparently knew each other since 10 years ago during their modeling years, and after the decade, they’ve now progressed as a couple having dated for 4 months. The alleged star couple began to see each other at the beginning of this year, and kept things very secretive and quiet, usually enjoying their dates in their cars.
In addition, they also frequently used occasions where they would have acquaintances around to further keep their relationship quiet according to Dispatch. They did this on one of their dates, on the 17th, after Jo In Sung appeared on a radio program hosted by Kim C by taking separate cars and making sure they walk apart from one another. Kim C is also the link between the two as he is close friends with the actor and also friends with the stylist who is friends with Kim Min Hee.
According to an insider, “The two opened up comfortably when they were at places with close friends gathered… They started showing interest in each other, and naturally their relationship progressed.”
A source close to Kim Min Hee added, “The two have been in the entertainment field for a long time. Since they’ve walked similar paths, they have a lot in common so they converse well… Although they’ve been meeting secretly, they’re very dependent on one another.”

Member Yookyung will be leaving A Pink!
It has been revealed that A Pink‘s Yookyung will be leaving the group.
A Cube Entertainment announced through a press release, “We first want to apologize to all the fans for having to deliver news of this nature. Yookyung, who debuted on April 19th of 2011 and received a lot of love while shedding tears and smiling with many fans over the past 2 years, will no longer be with us as an A Pink member.”
“Yookyung has always tried her best since her debut and has been a hard working member. After debating for a long time between continuing as a celebrity and focusing on her studies, as well as the other six members’ futures, Yookyung and her agency have made this very hard decision,” the agency continued, and added, “As Yookyung will be entering university this year, she will no longer be A Pink’s Yookyung, but a student like others her age. Please support her and her future.”
A Pink, which debuted in 2011 with “Seven Springs of A Pink“, are currently preparing for a comeback, although it is unknown how Yookyung’s departure will affect their plans.

Tony An (H.O.T) and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri reported to be dating!
After leaving fans wildly guessing with the announcement of their exclusive story, ’Sports Seoul‘ is finally following up with the scoop on the love life of an idol couple. The couple in question has turned out to be Tony An (36) from 90s idol group H.O.T and Girl’s Day‘s Hyeri (20), who are bridging the generation gap between first and second generation idols.
After two months of observing the two and gathering information, Sports Seoul has released pictures of Tony and Hyeri, who are supposedly enjoying a date, according to the media outlet.
The two usually went on their dates by using their personal cars and met late at nights, when they’d catch the least amount of eyes, to go on drives.
They were even spotted together on the 14th when Tony waited for Hyeri near the girls’ agency. After returning from her schedule, Hyeri apparently looked around cautiously before getting into Tony’s car, which then took off to Olympic Road.
After enjoying a long drive, the two stopped by a cafe with a great view of the Han River as they spent time having tea and talking. According to the media outlet, Tony An would smile happily as he looked fondly at Hyeri, who would show off aegyo to her older boyfriend.
After the cafe, the two headed back to Hyeri’s agency where Tony stayed put until he was able to witness Hyeri going back into the building.
The couple, with an age gap of 16 years, supposedly started dating back in March. Tony approached Hyeri first after seeing her bright and energetic personality on music programs, and through their dates, Hyeri became attracted to Tony’s gentle manners.
The agencies of both are aware of the two’s meetings, according to Sports Seoul, who says that the agencies have said, “It’s true that they’re meeting with fond feelings… They’re still at a stage where they’re getting to know each other. Please look over them fondly.”

Really climbing high, Lee Hi has been selected as the new model for a cellphone brand.
On April 9, YG Entertainment revealed that Lee Hi is now the new model for LG Electronics’ Optimus G Pro smartphone. She will be working side by side with Kim Bum Soo and Park Myung Soo.
“Even before she’s filled up her year since debut, Lee Hi has become a smartphone model that only popular stars do,” said YG Entertainment.

On April 10, SALT’N PAPER will be releasing Love Strong at noon (KST) with Tablo’s rap featured in it.
This is the first time since 2009 they’ve worked together on a song.
Sometimes nicknamed as the fourth Epik High member, SALT’N Paper has been friends with Tablo for more than a decade, having met in Korea in 2005. SALT’N Paper participated in Epik High’s album, Swan Songs and Map the Soul under the name of MYK. What would have just been a nice birthday party and fanmeeting has turned into a pile of drama.
On April 4, Robert Downey Jr. arrived in Korea to promote his new movie Iron Man 3. Later on in the evening, he held a special birthday party/fanmeeting with 5000 fans and MFBTY as the guest singers.
With Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae’s son, Jordan, being a huge Iron Man fan, Robert Downey Jr. invited the family onto the stage and even asked Jordan to cut the birthday cake.
But the problem occurred when fans accused MFBTY of stealing the spotlight from the actual birthday boy and made it into Jordan’s party.
The issue was especially heightened when Robert Downey Jr. was seen standing on the side while Yoon Mirae and Jordan stood in the middle of the stage. Fans became angry saying that they came to see Robert Downey Jr., and not Tiger JK and his family.
When he received an outpour of complaints, Tiger JK addressed the issue, a bit bewildered that he was being misunderstood.
He tweeted, trying to explain the situation that MFBTY remained on the stage and Jordan was called up on stage on Robert Downey Jr.’s request.
“Fighting [Hwaiting] to the Robert Downey Jr. fans. Even though my excuses are reasonable and I still feel it’s unfair, I sincerely apologize as I’ve come back home and see how happy my family is. I hope you won’t be upset anymore. I’m sorry,” said Tiger JK.
“I’m not a very understanding person. It’s not an excuse. I did as I was supposed to do at an event and came down from the stage. This is the first time I’ve experienced something like this, and I’m going crazy. If I get invited to an event by a big star coming into Korea, I’ve learned that I should never go.”
Although a good majority of his tweets have been removed, as they inicted more backlash, Tiger Jk ended the night with “Happy birthday Robert Downey Jr. And I sincerely apologize for ruining your fan meeting.”
Despite all the anger that arose from fans, an affiliate of the movie said that Robert Downey Jr. was amazed that Jordan knew so much about Iron Man and was reminded of his own son. After the event was over, Robert Downey Jr. even gave his thanks for creating such a wonderful memory.

The media outlet Sports World posted a photo of LUNAFLY performing at ‘M! Countdown‘ and titled it, “3-member co-ed group“.

Sun's pregnancy won't make her leave the Wonder Girls!
She had announced the amazing news through her Twitter that she was pregnant, but news of her pregnancy fueled some rumors that she would be leaving the group.
However, a rep from JYP talked to Newsen and stated, “Sun will still be promoting as a member of the Wonder Girls even after her pregnancy. It’s not that she left the Wonder Girls, but that she’s taking a temporary break. Rumors that the girls will be breaking up are all false. They’re baseless. Sun’s pregnancy is something that should be sincerely congratulated.”

Yuri sat down for an interview with the Korean cosmetics brand and revealed that achieving her perfect complexion requires drinking a lot of water, actively putting on sunscreen and getting UV protection through scarfs and sunglasses. She also stated that she practices yoga to help release inner toxins. Yuri also revealed the secret to maintaining her healthy skin during her busy schedule is none other than ‘Mamonde’s ‘flower serum’.

Kim Ki Ri and Shin Bora of Gag Concert announces that they are dating!
Spring is here and love is in the air with ‘Gag Concert‘ comedians Kim Ki Ri (28) and Shin Bora (26) joining the list of celebrity couples with the announcement of their relationship!
Both of their respective agencies revealed, “Kim Ki Ri and Shin Bora developed an interest in each other as they performed on ‘Gag Concert’ together for over two years and recently became a couple.”
The two came on board as comedians for KBS back in 2010. Kim Ki Ri has been bringing laughs to viewers through his segment ‘Inconvenient Truth’, and featured in 2YOON‘s “Harvest Moon” MV earlier this year; while Shin Bora rose to stardom through segments ‘Brave Guys’, ‘Discoveries In Life‘, and ‘Geojedo’, and recently starred in TEEN TOP‘s “Miss Right” MV.
